Powerful and relatively quiet motor which starts easily. Surprised at how good the hedgetrimmer is; the variable angle is very useful. The strimmer cassett is poor as is usual with the “bump” design; you spend more time replacing broken line than strimming. However I have bought a replacement module that uses separate lengths of stronger plastic line and now have an excellent strimmer.Have not yet used the chainsaw though it seems OK for lighter jobs. Not sure I could have assembled it without some prior knowledge as the instruction book is very poor for this and all other items (the online video helped with how to start the motor). Also have not used the brushcutter but it looks standard and should be fine. The support harness is adequate though I have bought a better, double one which makes handling the tool much better. The various attachments fit easily and secure tightly. The tool kit provided does all that is required though the gloves are small and flimsy so serve no useful purpose. There is a small round file that is not mentioned in the instructions but from experience I guess it is for sharpening the chainsaw blade which is handy. Overall I am very happy with the equipment.

I’ve had a multi tool before. This one was a replacement, with a number of small improvements. It works well with plenty of power for the job. The locking mechanism between the sections is better than on my last one. I also like the 40:1 petrol to oil ratio- much less smoky than 25:1. A sound tool and good value for money.

This machine is sturdy and well made but quite heavy for an elderly person like me. To date I have used the hedge trimmer and it worked very well. The package is good value and well designed and I see no reason why the other attachments should not be as good. I feel the harness could be better designed to allow more weight to be born by the body more comfortably thus giving greater control over the machine in use. My main complaint is with the manual which could give better and more detailed information on all the steps needed to, both set up this appliance, and to start the motor. fortunately I have some knowledge of both 2 & 4 stroke engines and had no starting problems. For example it would be better to give precise instructions for starting and WARN OF THE DANGERS of over priming and flooding the engine than to tell you what to do when you have flooded it. Also more details on how to fit and detach the various attachments. In all this is a good buy if you have some previous experience of this type of machinery, without that knowledge a better manual is required.

There are two major faults’ I find with this item one is when changing heads the retention clip at times’ sticks’ so you are unable to change the heads’ without the aid of pliers. The other fault is a 52cc power plant, this makes’ the unit very heavy to lift and use. I feel a 23cc power plant would have less weight and would be more than adequate.

Has a lot of power and weight. With the extension it becomes fairly unwieldy. But the components all work with the exception of the Hedgecutter which seemed very poor at its main job of cutting. There are no assembly instructions but it soon becomes clear what to do. Only exception to this is that on mine the hand grip and strap connectors were in the wrong order on the shaft. There is slight problem with the choke lever – it’s very easy to knock into the choked position when re-starting a warm motor, till you notice it – it has a devastating effect on performance.
